Hello! I'm Bre Yingling

Welcome to BGY Photography and thanks for visiting. I founded BGY Photography (originally Breanna Bartlett Photography) in 2016.

I'm a 20-something-year-old living in Palmyra, Missouri with my husband, Chris, two cats, Croissant and Pebbles, my Australian Shepard, Pippin, my Corgi, Indy, and my horse, Buckshot.

I began my own horseback riding journey by riding ponies at fairs (don't we all?) and caught the bug. Ever since I can remember, horses have been my life; I live and breathe horses. My childhood dreams became a reality when my parents agreed to let me get Buckshot, an unbroke 5-year-old Quarter Horse, when I was only 14 years old. For the past 10 years we've barrel raced, pole bent, rodeod (even went after a Queen title!), jousted and so much more. He's happily semi-retired from racing, but still loves getting out for conditioning rides every now and again.

At any gathering, you will always see me with my trusty Canon camera by my side. In my close-knit family, I'm known as the shutterbug and love wearing that title. After the loss of my youngest brother in 2019 and the loss of our two children (early miscarriage in 2022 and full-term stillbirth in 2023), photos to look back on mean even more to me.

I specialize in equine event photography as well as senior photography, but I also photograph lifestyle sessions when I have an opening!

Isabelle

Arena Photographer

Hi, I’m Isabelle! I’ve been with BGY Photography for almost two years now! Not every friendship thrives working together, but Bre and I work and support each other very well in addition to being best friends. I am now the arena photographer for almost all shows while Bre shoots your videos.

Since I was young, I’ve always loved being around horses. In college I found Bre because she was a fellow homeschool horse girl. I got back into the horse scene with her at the local barn where I was able to ride and help take care of the horses. After living most of my life in Indiana and then Ohio, I finally made the move to Missouri about two years ago and it was the best decision.

I’ve loved making friends with everyone at the shows and look forward to this next year of growth! If you see us around, my puppy Gus would love to say hi, and so would I. I’ll see you at the next show with BGY Photography!
