Ashley is one of my favorites because she is 100% down for my out-of-the-box ideas, even when it's bringing a whole horse to Forest Park*! Naughty was a perfect ambassador for a horse out in public and won the hearts of the Muny staff when we were in the walkway.
The Muny chandelier is so iconic for everyone from the Saint Louis area, but adding a horse and Ashley's high fashion look? ICONIC. This was a once-in-a-lifetime photoshoot and I'm on the hunt for another epic location!
*** Prior to the photoshoot, there were no online rules that stated horses were not allowed on site. We personally spoke to and saw many Forest Park staff and rangers that did not have an issue with us being onsite and the trailer was very publicly parked. AFTER this photoshoot, Forest Park has added a rule stating that horses are not allowed on site and I will not be holding any other equine photoshoots there out of respect for this rule. I called and spoke to the Park Rangers myself after some online uproar was caused by some other photographers and they stated I was not in the wrong at the time but asked that I do not bring a horse there again due to the backlash they were receiving.
